Opinions on Zecco.com:free stock trades

Anyone tried out Zecco.com? They have a pretty new business model allowing for 10 free stock trades/month.

Was just going to try them as well. I haven't heard anything bad about them, and I think it's worth a shot.

However, I am a little concerned about where the market is right now. I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. I wouldn't be suprised if we give back another 6-8% before the economy turns.

zecco allowed 10 free trades/day when i opened an account about 2 m
onths ago; now they have a minimum amount; still low; like 3k and 10 free trades/month;but cannot count on reliabilty

my concern is i tried to sell security one day it it just not accepted for execution

i'd stay away

There's been a ton of threads about this company. It's solid, and free. Worth it if you're going to be doing any trading with less than $5k. Your profits will be absolutely killed if you try to trade at $9 a pop with less than that amount.
